In the heart of old Florence the Castorina family, originally from Sicily, have dedicated themselves to protecting the rich artisan patrimony that the many craftsmen of Florence have produced through the centuries.
Objects born out the desire to create something new, exclusive, using the techniques of old. A family run business that for over a century has passed down the techniques of the artisan from generation to generation.

From 1895 Eugenio Castorina thanks to the skills handed down to him by his father, started working in Catania and then in Rome before reaching Florence in the 1940’s. Like many other Florentine workshops Castorina started as a restoration workshop of antique furniture from the 1500 and 1600’s. At the same time he also started to copy antique works creating made to measure furniture to order. Over the years Castorina has become a reference point for other craftsmen as a supplier of materials, wooden pieces and decorative objects. Not to be missed for architects and interior designers
